Afro pop musician Wiyaala, Gospel star Grace Ashey and celebrated High-life songstress Akosua Agyapong will compose the theme song for the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup which comes off in November.

The three music icons will have a collaboration for the official tournament song.

The trio were selected based on their massive influence in the Ghanaian music industry.

Both grace Ashey and Wiyaala have composed a couple of songs for the various Ghana National teams.

The 2018 Africa Women’s Championship will be hosted in Ghana.

Seven African countries will join Ghana for Africa’s flagship women’s competition which begins on November 7.

A draw will be held in the coming weeks.

Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa, Algeria, Equatorial Guinea, Mali and Zambia are the eight qualified teams for this year’s tournament.
