Multiple-Award Winning South African artist, AKA, who is scheduled to headline the much anticipated Friday Night concert at the Django Bar, has cancelled, citing uncontainable contingencies.
The singer who was also scheduled to perform at the Industry Nite event in Nigeria announced he could not make it due to delays with the issuance of his Nigerian VISA.
The Supa Doro Mega star who has a huge fan base in West Africa and said he was “really” looking forward to spending some time with his Nigerian his fans, celebrities, the media and fellow artistes as he marks his 27th birthday.
In an official communication forwarded to the Ghanaian media the singer’s management wrote, “with a heavy heart, he apologizes that he cannot make it to the event tonight and this weekend in Accra”.
AKA’s record label and management company, Vth Season, said they have consulted with the event organisers and they have agreed to have him back to perform at the earliest convenient date for both parties.
