Black Stars enforcer, Andre Ayew has been named as the best African Player in the French Ligue 1 by the France Football Magazine.

The rankings which was made up of the top ten players in the Ligue 1 was released on Tuesday and the Olympique Marseille kingpin came out tops.

France Football justified Andre’s top ranking by giving him the following accolades:

“In the game, his influence is undeniable: Andre Ayew is the one who directs the operation, impulse, command, replace voice and gesture. Offensive phase, it is often the one that triggers the penultimate pass and knows conclude, support the attackers.When OM runs after the ball, the Ghanaian captain becomes a “blocker”. His younger brother, Jordan Ayew, who is also part of the Black Stars, was ranked the fourth best African player in the Ligue 1.

Tunisian international, Wahbi Khazri of Bordeaux was ranked the second best African Player in France while Ivorian sensation, Max Gradel came third.
