According to Balogun Abdulazeez who prefers to be called AZ’D, famous musicians in Ghana support upcoming artistes which is not so in Nigeria.
Having lived in Ghana for the past four years, he says he has studied the music industry and hopes to make it big here.
And to make that dream come true, AZ’D has come out with Paper Ft Boboh. The song is an encouragement to the youth to work hard and save for the future.
Recorded by Mikemillzonem last month, Paper rendered in Yoruba and English also talks about his struggles in life and he how is now making it.
Although he could not push his previous songs Riddin Round, Hate and No Yash No Love, he is confident his latest song will fly.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, AZ’D a graduate of Zenith College said although the Ghanaians music scene is choked with good songs, he is confident of breaking through because he is unique in his own way.
He described himself as an Afrocentric hip-hop musician who does all genres of music. “As an artiste, you need to be versatile and do all genres of music and as a musician who raps well in Yoruba and English, I believe I stand tall,” he added.
Asked who his favourite musicians in Ghana are, AZ’D mentioned Tic Tac, Tinny, Fuse ODG, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Flowking Stone.
