Ghana Beach Soccer Sanitation and Hygiene Ambassador, Miss Araba Sey has stressed the need for continuous observance and adherence to social protocols including social distancing, wearing face masks in public, washing of hands and using of sanitizers amongst others.

Miss Sey, who was appointed “Ambassador” in 2019, has been working with a number of agencies, NGOs and groups as well as educating her followers on hygiene protocols through her various platforms on social media and main stream media.

The international model, who is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology (KNUST), has said that she will intensify her campaign with the team once the beach soccer season starts but before then, she continues to use her various networks to reach out to as many people as possible.

She stressed the need to engage children especially because they are most vulnerable and once we teach them how to observe hygiene, sanitation protocols, personal hygiene, home sanitation and environmental hygiene protocols, they will grow with it and become examples of how one should carry him or herself especially in these times of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Miss Sey has been travelling with the Ghana beach soccer team executives across different coastal regions to directly engage, educate and talk about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.

She confirms that she will soon kick start a radio and TV campaign to highlight these.
