Bismark Nii Odoi, Popularly Bismark the joke has plastered his name in Ghanaian as well as many African hearts with his hilarious performances on screens both Television Series and Movies.

Its been a revelation for the actor who struggled initially trying to enter the movie scenes.Over the past two years, his hard work and dedication has been extraordinary and proven a very important factor in his acting career.

Known for his star and comic performances in movies such as Bachelors, The 5 brides, cow and chicken, 8pm, Cheaters and many others, Bismark Nii Odoi has been tagged the name “the joke” for his rib cracking performances.

The actor is currently on the set of Prince David Osei’s PDO Production shooting his current project titled “Shante” where he plays a very different role compared to his usual comic character.

In a brief exclusive interview with Ghkwaku.com, asked about how different this role is and how he is adapting to the character, the actor said:

Kojo which i’m playing in this television series “shante”, Is a very different Character particularly for me, as you know, producers and directors  have tagged me as a comic actor and those are the roles they usually call me for.

I am basically very excited about this role and it came as a surprise to me when i was called upon to act this role but i believe Prince David Osei trusts i can deliver.As an Actor, there should be different dimensions to your acting, its all about creativity, the craft is not about tagging yourself into one category and making it your comfort zone.

What makes you a good or excellent actor is by taking up challenging roles and ones you adapt, you are good to go. There is nothing comedy about my character in this television series and after this is out, my fans will see another side of me.They should lookout for this.

Prince David Osei also added, the first name that crossed his mind was Bismark, which meant he had to phone him to confirm if he will be interested in taking up the role even though he slightly doubted.
