Bulldog Reveals How He Gets Over Depression

Artiste manager Lawrence Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, says the mere thought of his kids motivates him enough to get out of depression.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Bulldog explained that he knows his children need his protection until they were mature hence it would be unfair to allow himself to get into a depressed state.

“My kids help me to get over depression… my goal on earth is to serve them. I think anyone battling depression needs to hold on to a thought that keeps them vibrant. Holding on to the love you have for them should be able to keep you focused,” Bulldog said.

Asked if there was ever any moment in his life that he got depressed, he answered in the affirmative, recalling Shatta Wale’s unexpected visit to him when he was arrested by the police.

“…then Shatta Wale came there and got me depressed a little. My inmates were like when is he coming. He was there even though I didn’t want him to. He got to the counter and based on his status he was allowed at the ‘counter back’. He busted into tears and started crying,” Bulldog narrated.

He urged artists battling depression to seek professional help in order to enhance their craft. There are lots of natural treatments which can be used, such as cannabis or amazonian mushrooms, but it is always best to speak to a health professional first.
