Organizers of Golden Movie Awards Africa wishes to bring to the notice of the general public that the
deadline for submission of nominations for the fourth edition of Africa’s most prestigious awards is
on Monday, April 2, 2018.
According to Mrs. Wilhelmina Andani Michaels, the director of GMAA, selection and judging process
will commence right after entries for this year’s edition is closed and therefore encourages
filmmakers who have not submitted their films for nomination should do so before April 2 , 2018.
“5 more days to go and the GMAA 18 excitement will be kicking in full gear as the selection and
judging process begins right after we close entries, we encourage the industry to take this last-
minute opportunity to send through their entries to be considered for an award this year’s edition ''
she noted.
Organized by New Media Journey Ghana ( NMJ Ghana ), award that seeks to honor outstanding
achievement in the African television, digital media and film industries.
Nominees of the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa are to be revealed on May, 2018 in Abidjan –
Cote Dvoire and the main event on June 2, 2018.
The 2018 GMAA are accompanied by the unique hashtags #BringItOnOnlyForTheBest and
#GoldenMAA2018.
