Dentaa Amoateng MBE Receives Community Development Award

Founder and CEO of GUBA Enterprise, Mrs Dentaa Amoateng MBE was honoured for her immense contributions to the promotion of the positive image of Africa and Africans through Community Development, at the 20th Annual Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB) Awards – an event founded in 1999 by The Trumpet Newspaper.

The awards which took place on Sunday, 16th December 2018 at the Hilton Canary Wharf Hotel in London, showcased Africa’s Best and rewarded excellence among Africans in the Continent and in the Diaspora.

Organizers of the GAB Awards highlighted Dentaa Amoateng’s leadership of the GUBA Enterprise and its successful achievements in fostering stronger relations between Ghana and the United Kingdom, serving as a hub/link between the UK and Ghana, and most importantly, promote greater cultural diversity in the UK as well as raise the profile of Ghana.

Dentaa expressed how honoured she felt after receiving the prestigious award.

“I am very honoured to receive this award and I do not take it for granted at all. Here’s to all those working to make our motherland great and helping the world to recognise its beauty”

She added.

British Prime Minister – Theresa May MP, has also congratulated organisers of the Annual Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB) Awards. In her Goodwill Message, the Prime Minister stated that:

“I would like to congratulate Trumpet Media on its Annual Gathering of Africa’s Best Awards. These awards are an opportunity for us all to recognise the incredible achievements of successful African men and women across sectors including financial services, retail, media, the arts, science and technology and sport.

Mrs Dentaa Amoateng MBE assured supporters that the GUBA Enterprise will continue to work towards the advancement of the African community in the UK.
