Five of The Multimedia Group’s finest DJs emerged winners at the 2017 edition of the Ghana DJ Awards Saturday night held at the Silver Star Tower in Accra.

The five cemented their places as the best in the business when it comes to the various programmes they handle on The Multimedia Group platforms.

On the night, King Lagazee, host of Lagazee Soundz on Hitz FM was adjudged Raggae/Dancehall DJ of the Year while Andy Dosty was crowned Best Highlife DJ of the Year.

Ohemaa Woyeje, who hosts Work and Happiness on Adom FM received the Female Radio DJ award while Best Hiplife DJ went to Papa Bills also of Adom FM.

DJ Black, who has won the Overall Best DJ of the Year award on fourth consecutive occasions, lost out on the award this year to DJ Vyrusky.

DJ Black, host of Weekend Warmer and Open House Party on Joy FM was, however, crowned Best Male Radio DJ.

DJ Vyrusky emerged as the night’s biggest winner. He won the ‘Artiste DJ of the Year’, ‘Best Event DJ’ and the ‘Best DJ – Greater Accra’ and Overall Best DJ.

Veteran DJ, Azigiza Jnr received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
