Dancehall artiste Samini Dagaati has cautioned young artistes to be mindful of the lifestyle they adopt when they reach stardom.

“Self-conduct is key,” the multiple award-winning musician told Doreen Andoh on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix, Friday.

The artiste said it is easy for young artistes to ignore the principles of morality when money starts trickling in and their fame begin to spread.

He said there is a story behind why at 35-years, he has given birth to as many children with different women.

Samini said he became a star at 24 and engaged in “unruly” behaviours because he could afford to do them.

Making reference to his early lifestyle, the celebrated musician said although he will not tell signees under him not to date women and have children, he will tell them not to emulate him.

“I will not advise them to go down the path I went because there are a lot of consequences,” the Time bomb hit maker said.

He has advised young artistes to have control over themselves and be more responsible in whatever they do.

“Control yourself so that you will not have to explain yourself,” Samini Dagaati said.

He said helping young artiste is a passion as he is happy to see them do something great for themselves like Stonebwoy, Kinaata and many others.
