#GGFS2015: THE 3RD GHANA GARDEN AND FLOWER SHOW OPENS TODAY, 10TH SEPTEMBER 2015

Accra, September 10th, 2015 – Ghana’s innovative Garden and Flower show opens today, September 10th at the Efua Sutherland children’s park at 10:00am. The show will come alive with participants and visitorsat the opening ceremonywhich will be chaired by the second lady, Her Excellency Mrs.

Matilda Amissah-Arthur and officially opened by Her Excellency Tove Degnbol, Danish Ambassador to Ghana. Our distinguished Guest Speaker, the renowned former Minister of Agriculture in Kenya and Managing Director of Zena’s Roses has arrived in Ghana. For those who love music, Adomaa the songbird will starther appearances. The theme for this year’s event is “The world is your garden” which we need to appreciate, cultivate, conserve and benefit from for ourselves and posterity.unnamed

All is set for an exciting five days at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.Ms Esther Cobbah, Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa stressed the importance of appreciating and nurturing our plants and flowers;“God has blessed us with an abundance of natural resources, why don’t we use these to the benefit of ourselves, our children and generations to come”, she remarked. The Ghana Garden and Flower Show is an annual event organised by Stratcomm Africa.
