Ghana has moved 12 places up in the latest FIFA world ranking to 25th position, and are now 3rd in Africa.

fIn the latest edition of the FIFA ranking, the Black Stars amassed a total of 864 points which surpassed their previous 714 points from January 2015. Ghana is likely to climb even further in the next ranking after placing 2nd in the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. The desert foxes of Algeria are still on top the African chart with reigning African Champions, Cote D’ivoire following keenly at Second place.

The Ivorian’s climbed up 8 places on the table to rank among the top 20 teams in the world.
