Former Miss Malaika winner Hamamat Montia came under heavy criticism when pictures of her outfit for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards showing part of her boobs went viral.

Many chastised her for revealing too much flesh as a mother and questioned the real reason behind her marriage failure.

Hamamat who thought it wise to correct her mistake and get back into the good books of her fans and those who commended her for taking up a recent initiative to get the youth interested in reading decided to apologize.

She posted an apology on her Instagram page and a video to go with it blaming wardrobe malfunction.

Her post read;

I will like to apologize for yesterday’s wardrobe malfunction , I agree the dress was sexy but my intentions was very far from how it was portrayed.
