Humanitarian gestures: Amb. OLAKUNLE CHURCHILL donates to maternal homes

Amb. OLAKUNLE CHURCHILL and his Big Church Group had a series of charitable donations made out to the good people of Ondo State in Nigeria. “He chose that State as the first point of call because it is the State where his mother hails from”, according to a source.

On arrival last Thursday, he was warmly received by the Governor of the State, Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

The projects laid down for the State as accomplished had this line up plans:

Day1: Scholarship to students of the Mimshach School.

Day1: Financial Donations to Christ Orphanage Homes.

Day2: Financial Donations to Mother and children at the Mother and Child hospital.

Day2: Financial Donations and visit to Grace Orphanage Homes in the Ondo State Children Home.

After the gestures, one of the orphanage homes that was visited – the PR Head praised, “Ondo State has felt the impact of the kind heartedness of UN Goodwill Ambassador whose‎ major objective is to financially assist people of the state and also know what is lacking so as to come in handy for assistance during subsequent visits.”

When this reporter caught up with Amb. Churchill, he said that: “Humanitarian services are a major frontline of the Big Church Group. These gestures are in conjunction with the Tonto Dikeh Foundation; and together we identify the most crucial needs of humanity and support them in benevolent efforts that transform lives of the people around the world. This month we had Ondo State in mind, hopefully next month, another state in Nigeria will have us visit them.”

“As an Ambassador of the United Nations, my team and I intend to put in large scale efforts into improving the quality of health and the life of women and children across Africa.” He added.

About the BIG CHURCH GROUP Foundation: The Foundation develops and implements programs that improve health for people worldwide.

They are currently working to combat measles through strong partnerships that bring immunizations to those who are at-risk of the disease. They also support efforts to address another global health risk like Breast Cancer. Approximately about 347 million people have died due to the terminal illnesses caused by Cancer with the number projected to rise according to the World Health Organization.

Through the Big Church Group Foundation, Breast Cancer Awareness multi-year grants are awarded to the company’s large – scale efforts to support this awareness, prevention and treatment programs. Therefore, the Foundation is looking to extend their efforts to support Cancer initiatives in Turkey, France, Benin, the Republic of Korea, the United States and many other countries.
