Adina Thembi Ndamse, popularly known by her stage name Adina, has revealed Abedi Ayew Pele is her most admired sports personality in Ghana.

According to the songstress, she had always admired the legend since childhood.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ladies Time show on Saturday, the “Killing Me Softly” singer disclosed her admiration for the football legend because of his can-do spirit.

“He [Abedi Pele] is the sports personality I like best because when I was young. He was the champion and I admired how he played football,” she said.

However, Adina stated she will not get married to a footballer or any sports personality because of his money, but because of the person’s character.

Adina is a Ghanaian-South African singer, songwriter, actress and model. She recently won music reality show “Stars of the Future” in 2008.
