It is quite unusual in Ghana’s entertainment industry for a showbiz celebrity to open up this much about people she is not comfortable with, but Afro-eclectic singer, Efya says she cannot put up with men who are impolite in their approach towards her.

In an interview with ‘Vibes in Five’, the four-time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards best female vocalist said: “I don’t tolerate guys who are rude to me because when you confront me in such manner I will also show you my silly side, i also get silly too.”

When asked how she handles issues regarding her performance before mounting the stage, the singer revealed that she sometimes get livid over slight issues when she is about to perform but later reconsiders her actions.

“I get very wild when things go wrong when am about to perform, I sometimes take in cold water to cool me down. People around me inform me about how I react when things are not on point and I turn to review my thoughts afterwards,” she recounted.

Efya shot to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show organized by Charterhouse.
