Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has disclosed how she was jealous of colleague Mercy Johnson to the extent that she “childishly” fought her severally.
Tonto Dikeh in an Instagram post noted that she constantly fought Mercy Johnson because she was uncomfortable with the fact she could not match Mercy’s acting prowess.

“As a matter of fact that year Na only you I Dey fear to act with becos I know say you got dust me hands down…” the caption of a throwback photo with Mercy she shared on her page read. “Dunno how you do it boo but you are a GREAT ACTOR!!!

“Just consider all those my childish fight as envy because that year Mercy Johnson was all I wanted to be until I realize say to be me better pass!!!”

Mercy in reaction expressed happiness over Tonto Dikeh’s frankness while telling the 33-year-old how much she loves her.

She said: We need to pick you up, make a clone of you and your beautiful heart and keep you safe for the world to see, cherish and emulate from and love forever. Thank you sweets, mad love for you always.”

Tonto Dikeh ignited a feud with Mercy Johnson when she blasted the latter for going back to work soon after giving birth to her first child, Purity.

Mercy Johnson did not directly respond to that criticism but after the birth of her son, Andre, Tonto came out to apologise to Mercy for her comments.

Clearly, things are all good between these two actresses.
