Sarkodie in a latest interview with DJ Abrantee has detailed his meeting with President John Mahama and ex-President Kuffour.
The BET winner made it known all the political leaders after gaining office end up being the same.

“The leaders when they lead us, I don’t know how it works but they end up all being the same. It’s frustrating and I will always talk about it. It bothers me a lot to the point that I talk about it. But I don’t want to be a politician, I have never voted before.”

Answering a question on whether he had met the President he answered ‘yes’ but made it known it was before his Dumsor record.

“Yes, I met him and he gave me an award and that was before all the [political] songs. He gave me an award for Young Achievers Award for my contribution to music. Even that day I got the mic, I talked to him. It’s not like I’m hiding.

“I also saw Kuffuor out ex-President before coming to London and I respect so much. But I forgot to talk about him; it was after I met him that it occurred to me that I should have talked about him. But they kind of know where I’m coming from because as a kid I may be wrong as a young person but I talk from the frustration.”
