For those who ever told Highlife artiste, Kuami Eugene he would never make it as a musician because he had no talent, well, he has a song for you titled Never Carry Last which is off his yet to be launched album, Rockstar.

He said Never Carry Last is to tell his enemies that he has made it and will go places because the Lord he serves will never disappoint him.

He made this known to this reporter at his Rockstar album listening at Achimota on Wednesday, November 14.

Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Kuami Eugene said he was told by some industrial gurus that he will not make it as a musician at the beginning of his career.

“I don’t want to mention names but I went to a good number of radio presenters and record label management for help but I was told in the face that I can’t make it because I don’t have any talent” he said.

According to him, he almost gave up the dream of becoming a musician until he met with Lynx Entertainment who believed in his talent and signed him on.

Touching on Rockstar, he said songs on the 13 track album and recorded by different sound engineers include Confusion, Walaahi, Wish Me Well, My Time, Never Carry Last, Problem among others.

Impressed by the attendance of his fans, Kuami Eugene who performed songs—Angela, Wish Me Well, My Time, Never Carry Last, Fadama Boy, Boom Bang Bang thanked everyone for their support over the years.

“I wouldn’t have been where I am without you. Thank you very much for the support shown me over the years. I will forever be grateful to you” he stated.

Kuami Eugene revealed that the album will be launched with a concert at the end of December this year with a mega concert.

The album listening saw the likes of radio personality, Abieku Santana and other showbiz personalities gracing the occasion.
