Ghanaian actress Gladys Mensah Boako popularly as Nayas has said that she is not a gold digger and does not enter into a relationship based on the financial strength of her man.

Quizzed by Zionfelix whether she dated her ex-boyfriend, gospel musician Ernest Opoku for his money, the actress said money is not a factor she considers in a choice of a partner.

“When I met him [Ernest Opoku], he was struggling but not too broke. I’m not a gold-digger and he knows it. Any man I’ve dated can testify that I’m not a gold digger, I don’t enter into relationships because of money. Whenever I’m in a relationship, I always love with all my heart, it’s not about the money,” she stated.

According to Nayas, her partner should be God-fearing. “If he gives me money, fine, if he doesn’t, I’m fine. God’s time is always the best, and that’s how I’ve psyched my mind. In life, if you think money is everything, you’ll die and leave the money behind.”

“If you love your fellow human more than money, that’s the best, and everyone knows that I love human beings more than money”, she stated.
