Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy confirmed on Citi FM today that Kelvyn Boy is no longer under his Burniton Music Group record label.

Although he has been hesitant with answering questionings concerning the misunderstanding in his camp, he finally let it out today on Traffic Avenue hosted by Jessica Opare-Saforo.

He said his decision was not borne out of evil, stressing that no one should go bad-mouthing him for they will only be disappointed later when they get to find out what really happened.

He said the original contract was supposed to be a 5-year deal and per the contract; there was an option of renewal but he is wishing him well in all his endeavours.

“As we speak, Kelvyn Boy’s contract is long done and we’re supposed to renew it into the 4 years that it was. It’s actually 5, 1 year and then after the year you renew and sign into the 4.

“Eight months on after the year gone, we’ve been going up and down just observing and now it’s just obvious and beautiful that it’s not renewed and then everybody moves on wishing him the best of the best so he can continue his beautiful career that he has started and be a big star for Ghana, his family and himself”.

Stonebwoy later released a press statement to this effect:
