Eugene’s mother, Mrs Juliana Marfo, decided to surprise him by travelling from her house to the Lynx Entertainment office away to give a present to her beloved son.

In a video of the surprise visit sighted by YEN.com.gh, the singer was seen sitting on a couch while going through his phone. 

In a brief moment, one of the ladies around heard telling Eugene that his mother was coming. But Eugene who seemed not to believe asked if she knew the mother while he had his eyes still fixed on his phone. 

As the screams intensified and reached the hall he was seated in, Eugene raised his eyes to the entrance of the room and lo and behold, there stood his mother. 

Mrs. Marfo was holding a big and magnificent cake as his birthday gift and the ‘Angela’ hitmaker who could not hide his excitement screamed “Mama” as he hugged his mother.

Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian Highlife and afrobeat singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment and is known for several songs of his, including “Angela”, “Confusion” and “Wish Me Well”. 

He received the Best New Artiste awards from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and from the Ghana Music Awards UK. He also received the Most Promising Artiste in Africa award from AFRIMA.
