Miss Ghana Foundation Commissions Land For Orphanage & Skills Development Centre

Miss Ghana Foundation, the charity arm of the Miss Ghana pageant has on Friday commissioned a land to start the construction of an orphanage and Skills Development Centre  at Huni Valley in the Western Region of Ghana.

The ten acre land gifted to Miss Ghana Orphanage and Skills Development Centre is kind courtesy of Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyase Minister for Tourims Arts and Culture who double as Member of Parliament of the area and the chief of the area, Bosomtwihene, Nana Kwabena Ansah IV.It forms part of the chain of charity projects the Miss Ghana organisation has been embarking on to help underprivileged persons and children in the Ghanaian society. 

The development centre aspect of the project will facilitate trainings in the following areas; carpentry, masonry, electricians, tiler’s, plumbers, catering, dress making, fine arts, bead-making and baking among others.The commissioning ceremony on Friday was graced by Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce de Leon, Julia Morley; Chairwoman of Miss World Organization and Founder of the Beauty with a Purpose Charity,  Inna Patty; CEO of Miss Ghana organisation; Exclusive Events Ghana, Miss Ghana 2018 ; Nana Ama Benson and host of others including the chief and people of the area who loud the Miss Ghana organisation for project in the area.Miss Ghana remains the oldest prestigious pageant in Ghana.

Its foundation which takes up charity projects to help society has also toppled all other forms of pageants in Ghana. Currently the stage is set for the crowning  of Miss Ghana 2019. This will take place at an anticipated exciting event at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra on Saturday July 6.About 20 beautiful and intelligent finalists will be battling for the crown and who will represent Ghana at the next Miss World pageant as well as take up charity projects.
