The 2018 edition of the annual Miss Malaika beauty pageant has officially been launched in order to transit the reign from Pearl Nyarko Mensah, reigning queen.

The event which took place at the Oasis Pool and Shisha Lounge on Thursday 30th August saw appearances from Black Avenue Misik boss, DBlack, Komla and several others.

After a thorough selection for the absolute best to carry on the works of Pearl Nyarko Mensah, the scheme outdoored the 16 finalists still in the running towards becoming Miss Malaika.

Speaking to the audience, the organizers of the scheme announced the amazing opportunities the contestants will be given in the course of the competition.

The sixteen finalists revealed on the night were in no particular order, Afia Boatemaa Boateng, Adwoa Noella, Jennifer Appiah, Anne Kusi Gyamfi, Elizabeth Dsane, Gloria Obeng Nyarko, Olivia Amadi, Vanessa Brago, Ambraya Abena Abrafi Gray, Dela Seade, Evelyn Nyaasemhwe, Nana Ama Agyekum, Mariam Owusu Poku, Samira Rufai, Rosetta Quaicoe, Gesa Geermann

The prize for this year’s winner includes cash, a car and supply of products from sponsors over a period of time.

With Queens and past contestants like Berla Mundi, Regina Van Helvet, Caroline Sampson, Hamamat Montia, Anita Akufo and many others making great strides in their various fields of endeavor and influencing society in many positive ways, the pageant is providing the same platform for this years winners.
