Host of Joy FM’s Showbiz A – Z, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku was treated to a special day Friday, as she marked her 29th birthday.

A birthday party attended by colleagues was organised for her at the premises of The Multimedia Group, to celebrate the extraordinary gift to the world.

In a red dress that touched her feet and a face taken over by an army of smiles, Naa Ashorkor radiated warmth.

Standing between Joy Sports’ Nathaniel Attoh and Joy FM’s Nhyira Addo, she was unable to hide her stainless set of teeth as events unfolded.

It was during the singing of the birthday song that the matter-of-fact voice of Naa Ashorkor surged and floated above the heads of the people gathered.

Her excitement was boundless and this was seen in the way she could not stand at one place as though she found the ground on which she stood un-accommodating.

Birthday wishes poured in from both colleagues and management of The Multimedia Group.

Naa Ashorkor made a giant move when she joined the biggest media brand in Ghana after a stint at Accra-based Starr FM and GHOne TV.

She was born on November 24, 1988, to Mr Paul Mensah-Doku and Sarah Mensah-Doku.

She has had a flourishing career as a media personality from a guest on Accra-based TV Africa’s New Generation programme to the host of Starr FM’s The Zone show.
