A man from Liberia recently entered Nigeria infected by this deadly virus.it was reported that at least 30 people who had contact with the man in the hospital are now being tested, but what of other people he met on his way to the Nigeria/hospital i.e taxi driver, Pilot, Air hostess, hotel Attendant etc Then how many people did these people have contact with? in reality we are looking at over 3000 contacts.
Now we are dealing with something we aren’t even adequately prepared to handle. Medical facilities do not have the hazard suits and do not know the protocol for handling these cases. Its sad.

Symptoms of Ebola HF typically include:
- Joint and muscle aches
- Stomach pain
- Lack of appetite
Some patients may experience:
- A Rash
- Red Eyes
- Sore throat
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Difficulty swallowing
- Bleeding inside and outside of the body
Symptoms may appear anywhere from 2 to 21 days after exposure to ebolavirus though 8-10 days is most common.
Some who become sick with Ebola HF are able to recover, while others do not. The reasons behind this are not yet fully understood. However, it is known that patients who die usually have not developed a significant immune response to the virus at the time of death.Hopefully it doesn’t reach Ghana.
