Singer Wendy Shay has revealed that the untimely death of her father inspired her to become a nurse.

According to her, her curiosity to know more about her late dad’s death pushed her to study nursing in school.

The ‘Uber Driver’ singer told Lexis Bill in an interview on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM that, “I wanted to be a nurse because of my dad because I lost my dad to a very weird sickness and my mum didn’t know it that well. So [it’s] because I wanted to know what killed him.”
