Rufftown Record signee Wendy Addo, aka Wendy Shay, disclosed to the guests and patrons of the recently held ‘Stars In Worship’, one sad event that has happened in her life when she was very young.

The talented songstress told the audience who had gathered at the House of Miracle Ministries auditorium that her father passed away when she was just about two years old.

The “Masakra” singer continued that even though her family was hit with this sad reality, the Lord has done so much for them than could ever have asked for. Even though her father who was supposed to be their caretaker passed away when she was just 2, her mother stood firm and took great care of her because the Lord was good to them.

Wendy Shay also used the great platform offered her by Pastor Sampson Amoateng to heap praises on her mother for being there for her through all these years. She also thanked God for how far he has brought her, even though she didn’t deserve all the favor.

The love of a mother they say can never be compared to any sort of love one can get in the world. The sad story of the ‘Bedroom Commando’ hitmaker, surely proves her mom is a great gem.
