Highlife musician, Nero X has within three months visited over six Senior High Schools in Takoradi to educate the youth on the negative effects of abusing drugs, especially, Tramadol.
He announced in an interview with Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM that, he is set to expand the arms of the campaign to other regions if the country.
Though he has not had a personal experience of the effects of Tramadol abuse, the musician says he sees the level of damage the drug is having on the youth, hence the motivation to take action.
The “Osey” singer said, after realizing that ace journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah has started her project to create awareness on Tramadol abuse, he decided to join forces to combat the act.
Nero X further called on several other influential people in society to help the movement.
He stated, “One man can’t do this, we all need to put in individual efforts to factor changes in our society.”
