Ofori Amponsah and management part ways?

Rumour has it that highlife artiste Ofori Amponsah who made a major comeback last year after quitting secular music to be a pastor has parted ways with his management, Blaq Standard Management, headed by Frank Agyekum.

Close source to the artiste say all is not well between both parties but they have managed to keep it from the public.

According to them, Ofori Amponsah is no more working with his management which consisted of Frank Agyekum, Nana Poku Ashis and Arnold Asamoah Baidoo.

Frank Agyekum, CEO of Blaq Standard Management reacting to the rumour in an interview with Zionfelix.com questioned if Ofori Amponsah has publicly announced his termination of contract with his team. According to him, he has not ended his pact with the pastor so he still sees him as his artiste.

“I know I have a contract with him that is why I wanted to know if he is the who has announced that he is no more working with us. If he is the one who has made it publicly known, then that means he is ready to complicate the contract.

If Ofori tells the world that he is not working with Frank anymore, then I know he is not ready to go according to the contract then I can take my next action but as at now I know I have a contract with him”

When asked if Nana Poku Ashis, one of Ofori’s production team member and Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, his PRO are still working with the ‘Alewa’ singer, Mr. Agyekum answered that the two are workers of Blaq Standard Management but not Ofori Amponsah.

“Per the contract, Arnold and Ashis are on Black Standard Management payroll not on Ofori Amponsah’s payroll. If Black Standard signs a contract with you Zionfelix, they will definitely work for you. The two work for Black Standard but not any individual so if Black Standard signs an artiste, they will continue to work for that artiste.”

Efforts to reach Ofori Amponsah for his side of the story proved futile.

Ofori Amponsah in December 2015 released his comeback album, titled “Songs Of Solomon” under the aegis of Blaq Standard Management and Big Ben Music.
