Whilst some entertainers sit in rooms for days planning how to be controversial in order to get journalists and Ghanaians talking about them, Okyeame Kwame’s wife who also doubles as his manager, Annica Nsia Appau says her artiste need not to be controversial in order to trend.

Annica who owns Firm Bridges Communications with her husband told Zionfelix.com that BRA Kwame is not an artiste who fakes his lifestyle.

According to her, the “Woso” rapper is not a controversial person.

“One cannot give what he does not have on this planet we live on. What he is doing is who he is. He is just not a controversial person if you know him well.

He is a guy who enjoys doing music and he is just at his corner.”

She further stated that Okyeame Kwame has trended on social media platforms on several occasions without a negative story.

“He does not have to deliberately call for controversy to trend. When we released Small Small, he trended for about four days, when he did thins Paralympics thing, he trended, and when he turned 40, he trended so he does not necessarily need to be controversial to trend.”

Talking about Okyeame Kwame’s stripped concert slated for Friday, April 22 at the +233 Jazz Bar & Grill to raise funds for Ghana Paralympics Team, she said all artistes billed for the show are performing for free. She added that a press conference would be held after the concert to present proceeds from the show to the Paralympics team.

“When we are done with this concert, we plan to call the media and donate it to them (National Paralympics Team) publicly. This is to make Ghanaians know that indeed, the money we raised for the team has been given to them”

Other artistes supporting Okyeame Kwame for the stripped concert to raise funds for Ghana’s Paralympics national team ahead of the 2016 Paralympics game in Rio, Brazil are Kwabena Kwabena, Wiyaala, X.O Senavoe.
