History was made yesterday in more ways than one as the Joy Dadi Bitters sponsored ‘RevengeOrRepeat’ Boxing Event saw over 25,000 fans throng to the stadium on Boxing Day.

The D-Black led ‘ Livewire Events’ powered event broke record numbers for any boxing event in the history of Ghana as Banku also beat Powers again for the 2nd time via a technical knockout in the 5th round as he had earlier predicted.

The event saw stellar performances from Sarkodie, D-Black, Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese and Efya and 10 other bouts put together by Landmark Promotions.

It was actually my first time witnessing a boxing match and i must admit it was quite an experience having to see live punches been exchanged back and forth.

Ayittey Powers seem to have come out on top after the fourth round but all seemed to be too good to be true that he might end up taking home the range rover.After the fifth round, having received heavy punches from the undefeated boxer Bukom Banku, he eventually had to give in.
