John Cranley, Mayor of the city of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA has presented Okyeame Kwame with a proclamation and Key to the City. The event took place on Monday, November 2i, and it was organized by the Black Nurses Association of Cincinnati in partnership with the Ghanaian community in Cincinnati.

The Mayor’s honour allows the artist to organize events, run cultural exchange programs among other things in a capacity as an International Cultural Ambassador.The trip also gave the veteran rapper opportunity to increase awareness Hepatitis B, a campaign he has championed for close to a decade.

Okyeame Kwame returns to Ghana soon. On his return, he is expected to present the key to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
