H.E. President John Dramani Mahama joins the Government and People of The Gambia on the occasion of their 50th Independence Anniversary.
H.E. President Mahama who is the Special Guest at the Anniversary Parade in his capacity as Chair of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government arrived in Banjul today.
While in The Gambia, President Mahama will also visit Ghana Town where hundreds of Ghanaians, largely artisanal fishermen, live. There are about five thousand (5,000) Ghanaians both administrative professionals and an artisanal fishing community living in The Gambia.
He will be visiting to interact with the Ghanaian community in the company of the Gambian leader, H.E. Sheikh Prof Alh Yahya A. J. J. Jammeh Babili Mansa.
