One of the objectives of the “Girl Talk” concert is to spread itself across Africa by partnering

various women musicians in their respective countries to create a World’s first African brand

while sharing with them the opportunities that come with this great idea.

For the past years Becca has constantly been the face behind this Girl Talk Show but this

concept has been grounded with diversity, so this year, a new face has been designed for the

Girl Talk show headlining popular singer, Efya.

The reason for this change is to cement the fact that, Girl Talk, and all it comes with, belongs

to all women of aspiration and inspiration.

Since bursting on the Ghanaian music scene some six (6) years ago with 2 evergreen singles-

A MOMENT’S NOTICE (Odo Y3 D3) and NOTHING (after going solo)-the Afro Pop/Soul

songstress EFYA (Jane Awindor) has carved a formidable niche for herself. The 27 year old

has assumed a cult-figure status in the eyes of many music fans.

With strings of chart topping singles as a testament to her talent, she keeps growing, pushing

and incessantly enchanting almost everyone who has come into close proximity with her

music. EFYA’s music, like a whirlwind, swallows the listeners up and seduces their senses,

Music Awards.
