Samsung is the official sponsor of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Equatorial Guinea 2015, taking place from the 17th of January to the 8th of February 2015. Samsung supports football passion through the Dream Camp that will be hosted on the 23 January 2015 at the Lizzy’s Sports Complex in Accra.

The ‘I See Your Dreams’, Dream Camp focuses on the youth’s passion for football and helps them with skills development and interactive training with football legend Yaw Preko.

The ‘Dream Camp’ forms part of Samsung’s commitment to bring football fans closer to the beautiful game and create excitement amongst communities during the Orange AFCON 2015.

The camp will allow young soccer enthusiasts to receive training from professional football coaches. The professional coaching session will take the students through their paces as they find out first-hand what it takes to compete at international level.

Football legend Yaw Preko is taking part in the ‘Dream Camp’ and sharing his experiences as a professional soccer player who has represented the national side at the highest level.

“Our greatest passion in Africa is Football and the Dream Camp gives young footballers the opportunity to go after their dreams. The Samsung ‘I See Your Dreams’ Dream Camp has inspired Ghana to create tomorrow’s legends and support the football talent,” says Preko, Samsung Brand Ambassador.

“We see this as an opportunity to foster the spirit of professionalism and nurture the love of soccer in the youth. It isn’t often that students get the opportunity to receive training from professional coaches and meet professionals who have played on the global stage. As we reach the final stages of the campaign we focus on sustainability and growing the talent through Dream Camp,” concludes George Ferreira Chief Operating Officer & Vice President, Samsung South Africa.
