The Dancehall King, Shatta Wale won the Best New Entertainer at the International Reggae and World Music Awards 2014 held in Florida after overcoming stiff opposition from Jamaican duo Alkaline and Kranium last week.

The award was received on behalf of Shatta Wale by Hashim, CEO of Boogie Down Nima.
Now that he has grabbed Best New Entertainer at the International Reggae and World Music Awards, he is gearing and urging his fans to vote for him to win the Most Gifted Ragga Dancehall Act at the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards 2014.
