A finalist in the 2018 Vodafone Icons, King Garo, has expressed interest in working with Dancehall King, Shatta Wale.

King Garo is a dancehall artiste, and a Nima rep in the Season 6 of Vodafone Icons. In an interview with zylofonmediaonline, the young talent acknowledged the efforts of the Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy, in achieving for himself and his brand, international recognition. He however added that if he had the option to work with any dancehall artiste from Ghana, he would choose Shatta Wale because he believes that is a one sure way he can make a hit.

“If i have to choose a dancehall act in Ghana to work with, i will surely choose the popular one, which is Shatta Wale, so that i will have a hit. …i love Stonebwoy and i respect him, but Stonebwoy is international. In Ghana, it’s Shatta Wale”, he opined.

King Garo also applauded all Ghanaian dancehall artistes for their efforts in promoting their arts. Vodafone Icons grande finale comes off on Saturday, 6th October at the Achimota Mall, and voting ends tomorrow, 5th October.
