Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has signed a two-year deal with Saudi club Al-Ittihad after agreeing terms. The player was picked up on a free transfer after he was released by AC Milan a few months ago.

Over the weekend, Muntari and officials of the club met to discuss terms of the deal worth 14 million euros. Al-Ittihad has stated that it has intentions of signing Kevin-Prince Boateng after it failed to acquire the services of Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin. The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner with Inter Milan is set to open another chapter in his career having previously played for Udinese, Portsmouth and Sunderland.
