Classic man, Kofi Laing has been in country for slightly over a year and works on TV/radio and as well makes documentaries.
Kofi Laings Makola is certainly worth the Euphoria of a Republic weekend release.
When Kofi was asked about his motivation for this film, he stated;
“I love my homeland and producing this documentary about Makola has brought my heart home again after living abroad, being separated from the things I love most about this country for 25 years. This is personal to me.
The process of making this film reminded of so many life lessons that keep us grounded as Ghanaians.
While I loved producing the Kenkey Girl which was a blockbuster on #Ghanaspeaks through social media platforms in Ghana, this piece on Makola is closer to my heart. I hope people love the journey I will take them on, and that what they see will convey what is most precious to me about Ghana – the people. I am grateful to MULTI MEDIA for believing in my vision and for giving me the freedom to pursue what inspires me.”
