Rappers Ko-Jo Cue and Lil Shaker say they currently have no issues with their former label mate, E.L.

According to them, they are in very good terms with the award-winning rapper, who until he announced publicly in November 2017, was a pivotal member of BBNZ.

Until E.L’s departure from BBNZ, amidst reports of a rift between them, he was a forerunner of the label which also had Ko-Jo Cue, Lil Shaker and Sika Osei.

Asked if all was well between them and the 2016 Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’, the two rappers said they are cool with him.

“We don’t have any personal problems with E.L, we are still cool with him,” they told Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

They, however, added: “We can’t put him [E.L] on shows organised by BBNZ because of obvious reasons.”

They are set to hold the Shaker vs Ko-Jo Cue concert on Friday, October 26 at the Alliance Française in Accra.

The concert will feature performances from Edem, Kidi, Strongman, Donzy, Kula, Ypee and others.
