DJ Black was supposed to be the official DJ for this year’s Ghana Meets Naija but he was nowhere to be found at the auditorium on the night of the event.

Nii Ayi Tagoe was the man behind the turntables but his work did not live up to expectation.

He actually made the crowd miss DJ Black who did not show up on the night even though he was advertised.

Explaining why he was absent at the event, Black told Christian Agyei Frimpong on Channel R that “the notice did not come early for me to rehearse very well for a show of that nature, consequently I felt I wasn’t that well prepared to gig at the show.”

On why he has become the toast of many event organisers, he said “I think this question should be directed at event organizers who come for me, but may be importantly because of how I package myself”
