Bright Danquah, known by his stage name Ogee The MC last Saturday thrilled audience who were present at this year’s E.L’s B.A.R II Hip-Hop concert by BBnZ Live records and Tigo Ghana. Tagged as Ghana’s Hypest MC, it was a ‘no surprise moment’ for fans who knew him as he mounted the Bar II stage and shook them to some energizing hype and good music!

The YFM Ghana Official Hype man did his usual ‘Stage Magic’ alongside his Team Faded counterpart and colleague DJ Mic Smith otherwise known as the Shutdown King! For a minute, the scene didn’t look like a regular concert because Ogee turned the B.A.R II concert stage into a live club as he mastered the ceremony like he does in clubs; sing along and hype popular songs the fans love to jam to in the club.

After his extraordinary stage entry and peculiar style of MC’ing, Ghana’s Hypest Mc went on to introduce the various artistes who were on the bill to perform.

The event saw awesome performances by Ghana’s crème de la crème in Hip-Hop gracing the stage with a wide array of good music! Ko-Jo Cue, Edem, Stargo, Shaker, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Jason El A, Kwaw Kese were the performers at the B.A.R II concert to mention but a few. The nights highlights undoubtedly was E.L’S B.A.R II album performance.

At the end of the event, Ogee gave fans a dose of his closing treat as he hyped a couple songs from DJ Mic Smith’s popular 2015 Shutdown Riddim mixtape. Fans immediately took to social media to express their gratitude and feelings on Ogee’s tremendous style of MC’ing.

He definitely proved himself worthy once again for the undisputed Hypest MC in Ghana title!
