Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has downplayed his well-publicised feud with fellow musician Samini, saying his actions are purely business motivated and that he holds no personal grudges with Samini.
The pair’s verbal squabbles have captivated fans in recent times, with Samini taking to social networking site, Twitter in October to mock Shatta over the suit filed against him by Charterhouse.
However, when asked about his feud with Samini in an interview on Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue with Jessica Opare Saforo, the ‘Everybody Likes My Thing’ singer, explained that whatever is happening between the two of them is aimed at creating some excitement in the industry.

“A whole lot of people are misunderstanding what I’m doing but Samini is one musician I respect a lot….I really admire him a lot but this is business. I don’t have anything personal against him….The fans always want to see us together…but the more they take it personal, the more issues come up….I’m trying to teach him how to do business to keep the fans entertained. ”
Shatta Wale also took the opportunity to wish embattled musician Kwaw Kese well, as he deals with the law for allegedly smoking Indian hemp in public.

He called on the public to plead on Kwaw Kese’s behalf but cautioned against resorting to the #freeKwawKese campaign because “no one can force the law to work for us by saying we should #freeKwawKese. We should desist from that and just try and apologize and beg for him for a second chance.”
Shatta Wale leads an exciting lineup of hit-makers billed to perform at the 2014 edition of the Decemba 2 Rememba concert. He performs alongside Stonebwoy, Guru, M.anifest, MzVee, Keche and Kontihene, with rib-cracking comedy from DKB and the sensational Kalybos and Ahuofɛ Patri.
The Citi FM Decemba 2 Rememba concert comes off on Wednesday December 24 at the Accra International Conference Center. Tickets are available at Citi FM and the Airtel Shops at the Accra, Madina, Tema, Osu and the Marina Malls.
The 2014 edition of the nation’s official Christmas party, Decemba 2 Rememba, is sponsored by Airtel, Dynamite energy drink and Kupenda Condoms with security from Westec Security.
