Alexander Osei

Alexander Osei is one of the new promising faces in the Ghanaian movie industry. He has starred in movies in the likes of Victims, bloody rain ,behind the secret, twisted tips tv series , banana babes (Nigeria) , Before noon and Most recently Released in the market  “Jackie goes to School “.He has made a very promising start in the movie industry gaining him Sub lead Roles with the likes of Eddie Nartey, John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah, Christabel Ekeh and many Others.

During An interview with this great talent concerning  the low patronage of Ghanaian English movies he was quick and brief to say ” The Industry is Facing very serious Problems which need to be resolved as soon as possible and FIPAG needs to take desperate measures to make sure things fall back in place”

On Hypocrisy : some movie producers or some directors will go give a role to an Actor or Actress he knows can’t deliver perfectly just because he has personal relationship with that artiste and most at times too they do that in other to get their cut  when the artiste is  paid by the Executive producer .

On Drugs: Some Actors act on the influence of Alcohol and drugs , its funny at times you see an Actor or Actress on set early morning smelling of Alcohol and bad breath.

On Affairs : some ladies in the industry will be making advances to directors and produces in the name of getting casted for a particular role but when they are offered the opportunity to act that role,  they end up messing it up since they weren’t qualified or its too big for them.Asked if he can mention a few names, The Actor said: Definitely in My Next interview.

On Movie Premieres: Its all Over-exaggeration: He Said, , they put up huge billboards and posters across the country, do massive promos when they are perfectly aware of the movie’s lack in creativity and storyline but just in the name of creating buzz for themselves,they waste the precious time of movie lovers because in the end,they get disappointed and might not waste any more money on the quality ones.

lastly, On communication: Actor Alexander Osei revealed there is lack of respect and good communication on set when movies are being shot so cast and crew end up fighting  which affects the outcome of the movies.He also added,there are so many movies at the editing bench’s in various studios which can’t be released due to all these hick ups.
