Yvonne Nelson was on Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue with Jessica Opare Saforo. She answered questions related to her career, love life and the controversies.
“I’m very paranoid. I don’t believe in what any man says. I’m no longer dating but I still believe in love,” she said when asked about her current relationship.
She also denied boycotting the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards because of Iyanya, her ex-boyfriend who performed on the night.
“I wasn’t at the #VGMAs because I was involved in an accident on my way there. I was to present an award,” she said.
Reacting to rumours that she has been bleaching, she explained that the use of filters on Instagram among other things make her look a bit fairer and that she has not bleached. She explained that some people would just not accept explanation but remain resolute about the bleaching rumours.
Among other things, she revealed how with time she has managed to build herself up in the movie industry. She’s currently working on her latest self-produced movie which features the best of the Ghanaian movie industry.
